Musical Intelligence: The AI Editing Engine

⏱️ 3 READ TIME

Placing a music track under a voiceover is a simple task; making both elements interact organically while respecting the rhythm, intent, and narrative structure is pure engineering. Sonodit’s Editing Engine is the core component responsible for this critical task of adaptive mixing and mastering.

When you select a music track for your spot, the Sonodit engine performs an immediate analysis of its transients and calculates the exact BPM (Beats Per Minute) of the piece. The system doesn't just loop the music; it maps its sections—intro, development, energy builds, and outros—and aligns them with the duration and pauses of the generated voiceover.

Key functions of the Editing Engine:

  • Structural Editing: Cuts and splices musical measures following the original rhythm, ensuring that voiceover phrasing shifts coincide naturally with musical transitions.
  • Dynamic Frequency Attenuation: Rather than just lowering the overall volume of the music when the voice speaks (traditional ducking), Sonodit specifically attenuates the frequencies that compete with vocal intelligibility, keeping the music's body and energy intact at both ends of the spectrum.
  • Professional Multi-Format Export: Once the mix is consolidated, the engine performs a high-fidelity render, delivering the final product simultaneously in WAV (uncompressed, ideal for archiving and radio automation systems) and MP3 (optimized for fast distribution and streaming).
